Big Stacks for Torres
While Edwin Torres (Bartow, FL) needs his fingers and toes to keep track of all his stacks, Robert Sembler (Staten Island, NY) is happy to hold just one stack of mostly blue (5k) chips.
Sembler, who began the day 173rd of 174 returning stacks with 22k (7 bb) has managed to make the money following in Torres' footsteps.
"He's doing what I did," as Torres offers a fist bump. Torres was a short stack to start Day 2 (551 of 591) and at night's end he bagged the third biggest stack at 545k.
Torres still has heaps as he's second in chips with 1.6 million. Sembler has less than 100k and is thrilled to still be playing.
