Event 1 (Complete) Video Recap

The kick-off event of the Borgata Poker Open is an event that players circle on their calendar, just like the opening weekend of football.  The 2013 Borgata Poker Open event 1 ($560 Big Stack No Limit Hold'em) did not disappoint as we saw the largest overall field (4,412) and one-day field (Day 1B - 2,812) in Borgata history.

Not to be overshadowed was an unprecedented run from Dan Wach (Boonton, NJ).   Wach finished runner-up in this same event last year for $200,793, and went on to duplicate that feat this year, falling short at the hands of Maksim Rozenfeld (Staten Island, NY), but still earning $235,627.
