At one point, Jason Rosenberg was on the verge of not even making the money. The shortest stack at one point with ten players remaining, Rosenberg found a couple of double ups by doing as he said "putting my money in and coming back bigger." Rosenberg, a high stakes PLO cash game player, said this was "the first tournament I've ever won" adding that "it feels nice. It's hard to get all the chips in play." Rosenberg was not going to play the tournament but his friend Gabriel convinced him to.
Rosenberg gushed about the Borgata stating it was one of his favorites to play at on the tournament circuit. He'll be playing Day 1B of Event #8 tomorrow and also plans on playing in the WPT Main Event. For now, he'll catch a few hours of sleep knowing that he's essentially free-rolling the rest of the Borgata Poker Open.
Jason Rosenberg (Raleigh, NC) - 1st place - $12,222
