With a persistent, never give-up, attitude, Alyson Parker hung in throughout the final table and used a combination of great play, good timing, and a little bit of luck to come out on top of the Ladies event winning her first ever major tournament. "I've won a few nightly tournaments," she said, adding "but those don't count." Her rail joined her in celebration causing Parker to state that "I have the best rail ever. You gotta love my girls."
Alyson was tired but felt good and said that the Borgata is home to her. "I'm going to definitely be playing more events now and am going to try and satellite into the WPT Main Event," she said. Parker has been playing poker since she was young which she joked "was a long, long time ago."
