Championship: 6th Place - Fields

$3300 + $200 Championship Deep Stack Double Play NLH

Blinds 50k/100k/10k ante

Eric Fields (Greensboro, NC)
$168,610

Eric Fields is poised for a triple-up, but the Barry Greenstein, Ace on the river ends his day.

Jeremy Kottler button raises to 200k, Cong Pham calls from the small blind, and Fields moves all in for 1.7 million.  Kottler makes the call before Pham quickly moves all in over the top for 12+ million.

Kottler goes into the tank before folding.

Pham: A K♣
Fields: J♣ J

Flop: 9 7 5 (Fields still leads)

Turn: 6 (Pham adds flush draw)

River: A♠

The pair of Aces gives Pham the pot and takes his stack to 15 million, more than double that of second place.

Fields is stunned in disbelief and says, "it had to be the river."

The 22 year-old has been playing poker professionally since graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Management specializing in entrepreneurship.
Fields takes home $168,610 for his 6th place finish and more than 4-times his career earnings of $37,000.

Field's prior highest cash came in May ($23,000) when he won a WSOP circuit ring.
