Event 1: Ace Jack is a good hand right?

$500 Buy-In + $60 Entry Big Stack No Limit Hold'Em (Re-Entry)

Blinds 50K/100K Ante 10K

Greg Weber opened under the gun and before it got back to him there was a re-raise and an all in shove for just over two million in chips. It was a good chunk of Weber's stack but ultimately he announced that he too was all in. The original three bettor folded and when Weber showed A-K stated that he folded the same hand. The all in player showed A-J and would need a lot of help in order to survive. He would receive just that when the board double paired on the turn giving both players two pair with an ace kicker. The player with A-J clapped his hands, happy that he was not going to be eliminated. His joy was short lived, however, as the dealer put an ace out on the river giving Weber aces up with a king kicker, good enough to best the A-J. Weber is up to approximately 7.5 million after the hand and is in great shape with 33 players remaining.
