At one table, a frustrated Michael Borovetz (who final tabled an event earlier this week) complained to the dealer. This prompted another player at the table to get into a verbal sparring match with Borovetz. "What are you the moral police," Borovetz said. "You never do anything wrong?" The player responded that he just wanted Borovetz to show a little respect to the dealers. Tensions were getting high and a few other players at the table interjected to restore some peace. The two continued to glare at each other though and Borovetz put his headphones on and say "I can't hear you now." The other player cracked "he probably doesn't even have any music on."
Over at another table, Will Failla raised to 6500 and was re-popped by a young kid in the small blind. Failla called and the flop came 8♣6♠2♦. The kid led out for 10.5K and Failla called, casually tossing the chips into the middle. The turn was the Q♣ and the kid checked this time. It looked as if the dealer was about to put out the river card and Failla stopped him. "It looked like you were about to do something stupid," Will explained, then adding "I like your style" before also checking. The river was the 5♥ and the kid checked again prompting a 15K bet from Failla. The kid didn't waste much time and folded his hand. "You flop a set," he asked Will. "You call off half your stack pre with a small pair?" Failla laughed. "That wasn't half my stack. I promise you, I didn't call you with a c*** sandwich." The kid laughed, as did the rest of the table, as Failla stacked the chips.
