Michael Borovetz came to the final table as the chip leader but he lost several big races. The first was the previously mentioned A-K against Lee Childs and his pocket 8's. The 2nd one, and the one that would ultimately lead to his demise, was when he moved all in with A-Q and was called by Soheb Porbandarwala's pocket jacks. Down to his last few chips, Borovetz was eliminated two hands later by Lee Childs. An unhappy Borovetz muttered "ever since he sat down, he's made me lose every hand" referring to the dealer. Borovetz stormed off to collect his prize money.
Michael Borovetz finished in 6th place winning $10,643.
