Aaron Massey. a professional poker player with over 1.4 million in career tournament earnings, is roaming around the tournament area watching the action in Event 1. He nods at me and says "that's Frank Stallone over there." I glance over and the player he is directing to me to could pass for his twin brother. "So does that make you Sly?" I asked. "Exactly," he answers, patting me on the back.
Frank's real name is Ralph Massey and he's no slouch himself at the poker table having over 100K in tournament cashes over his poker career. Massey had moved in with aces and received no action. Still moderately short, Ralph moved all in again for about 1.7 million and received a call from a player to his left. Frank, err I mean Ralph, had A♣9♣ and was up against pocket 5's. The large rail cheering Massey on yelled for the dealer to put an ace out. The dealer did just that and when the board ran dry, Massey doubled up to 3.6 million which is just above the 3 million chip average. 30 players are left.
