Blinds 250K/500K Ante 50K
It was well into the early morning hours and the blinds were astronomical. So it wasn't that much of a surprise that it didn't take much for Lee Childs to lose the dominating chip lead he had heads up. In fact, it took only two double ups for Joe Boatwright to take over the chip lead. Then it was off to the races on the final hand with Boatwright holding pocket 4's and Childs A-7. The flop came Q-Q-4 giving a boat to Boatwright. Childs would need a miracle turn and river but it just wasn't in the cards for him tonight and he settles for a 2nd place finish. This was Childs' second final table of this series (third if you count the Survivor tournament he made the final table on as well) as he had a 5th place finish earlier in Event #2. Not a bad series for Lee and he'll go home with his wallet quite a bit fatter.
