We are losing players quickly as 17 players have been eliminated since we returned from the dinner break leaving us with 53 - the average stack is approximately 1.7 million. When one player busted instead of the dealer announcing that a player that was eliminated, the player with the winning hand yells "Seat Open Table Six!" - where's the referee throwing the 15 yard flag for taunting when you need him?
A short-stacked player moved all in for his last 385K and
after doubling up with aces against pocket 7's, clapped his hands
together acting as if he just won the tournament. Can't win it if you're
not in it though, so I can understand his excitement. A friend at
another table yelled "Rally Hoodie" as the player started stacking his
newly acquired chips.
Mike Bennington is continuing his hot run. He's up to over seven million in chips. Bennington told me "they just keep coming." Another player at his table joked that he wanted security to check his pockets.
